Join The Midst Founder community of entrepreneurial women

The Midst Founder network is a microcommunity on a mission to help women play by their own rules, together. We come from many walks of life, with careers ranging from a Minneapolis menopause coach to an L.A. dentist-turned-health-tech-entrepreneur to a race car driver, an attorney and feminist erotica advocate, and longevity experts.

The Midst started as a media company covering the modern midlife experience — and we still are actively publishing and building our viewers every day (subscribe to our Substack, for free, to see what we do). We’ve evolved to become a supportive ecosystem for women over 40 — we feature the stories, products, and services of women-owned businesses with our audience of educated women over 40. Essentially, if you have a business targeting women over 40, The Midst is a good place to get the word out.

The Midst Founder Network membership benefits

  • An editorial profile story about you (PR without the high price tag)
    • We’ll publish your story here on the-midst.com, share with our 7,000+ subscribers via email and promote on our social media. A story about you also helps your SEO — many of our members’ stories rank on page 1 of Google Search for their names. In 2025, we generated ~700,000 organic views. In 2026, we’re anticipating 1 million+ views. We’re not huge but we’re highly targeted. (Our founders tell us that we’re a better bet than spending thousands of dollars on Facebook ads.)
  • Your product or service will be featured in our gift guide: Gifts for women, by women.
  • Gain full access to all content on The Midst Substack, including paywalled stories like our What Linkedin Doesn’t Say series. If you’re seeking inspiration from fellow founders, you’ll enjoy these stories.
  • Virtual meetups
  • Half off a ticket to The Midst L.A. event on September 18, 2026
  • Onboarding with me

All that for $249 for your first year.

Because we’ve been in beta with this program, we’re offering this special rate until September 2026. At that time, we’ll collect feedback from the community and decide next steps for moving the community forward for the next phase of growth.
